As Director of the Gibson Education Center at Miami Dade College, Gener is a driving force behind student retention, workforce readiness, and industry-aligned education. He works closely with educators, business leaders, and policymakers to develop programs that provide real pathways to financial and professional success. In addition to his leadership in administration, Gener is a passionate educator. As an Adjunct Faculty member at Florida National University, he bridges academic theory with real-world applications, preparing students for success in business, management, and economics.
His academic background reflects his commitment to excellence and lifelong learning. Gener holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a concentration in Public Administration from Florida State University, a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Management from Nova Southeastern University, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership specializing in Organizational Leadership.

As an advocate for financial literacy, social impact, and community development, he has been actively involved in organizations such as the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, The Urban League, Mu Chi Delta, Collegiate 100, and Kappa Delta Pi. His selection for the Miami Dade College President’s Leadership Academy (PLA) further highlights his leadership in the field of education.
